Our Celebrants

Meet our team of current Celebrants, all fully trained and authorised by The Registrar General of Scotland.  We pride ourselves in using our unique talents to guarantee your Ceremony is more than just the sum of it’s parts.

We have a growing membership, however it’s not compulsory to join.  From our bank of trusted members we have now trained a small team in Celebrancy.  Our Chair, Marion McGunnigle has been conducting ceremonies since 2009 and is the most experienced member of our team.

Our Celebrants possess very special qualities as individuals, and bring a wealth of experience from their life and work experience to our society.

Ceremonies tend to be some of the most emotional events in peoples lives, it’s a good idea to choose a Celebrant that you share a personal synergy with.  From the initial meeting, we look forward to striking up a rapport with you, help you bring your ceremony to life and celebrate or commemorate in a dignified and personalised way.

Marion McGunnigle

I’m a marriage and family event Celebrant, working across Scotland since 2009. Providing ceremonies is both a privilege and a creative outlet for me.

Using my creative writing skills and inspiring delivery style, I bring the ceremony alive allowing you both to celebrate your own values. I make sure every layer of your ceremony is perfect, with attention to detail ensuring it’s more than just the sum of its parts. As a seasoned public speaker I’ve worked in Scotland’s most prestigious Wedding Venues.

In Scotland, however, your Wedding can be hosted anywhere – even at home – if booking a licensed Celebrant like me. I live near Glasgow with my twin girls and I manage this small team of Celebrants.

I’m passionate about delivering a great experience, so please get in touch if you are planning your Wedding – especially if you’re looking for something a bit different!

Have a listen to me reciting a few popular Wedding verses on my own blog.
